One of the most successful programs offered at The Arc of Fort Bend County is our Special Olympics Program. Special Olympics provides year round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for people with intellectual and related developmental disabilities. Participating in Special Olympics gives the athletes opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in the sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.
