Parents want their children to grow into self-sufficient citizens. The Arc fosters this independence for low income adults with disabilities by purchasing homes throughout the county and leasing them (at below-market rates) to qualified providers who operate them as group homes. Group homes provide the opportunity for individuals with disabilities to live independently; yet, they are provided the critical support they need to succeed. The Arc owns 13 homes throughout Fort Bend County.
